Where to get your Eurail

Eurail tickets are sold all over the web, with third party distributers selling passes for different prices and offering different bonuses. For the most part, Eurail passes have similar prices, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t get ripped off – so do your research!

Where to get your Eurail Pass:

www.eurail.com Eurail.com is the official Eurail website. They sell all of their standard passes onling, giving you access to the Eurail Global Pass, the Eurail Select Pass, the Eurail Regional Pass, and the Eurail National Pass. Official website are always a good place to start your research.

www.raileurope.com sells the standard selection of Eurail passes, including the Eurail Select Pass, the Eurail Select Pass Saver, and the Eurail Select Pass Youth. They even have the handy Eurail Select Pass 'n Drive, which gives you 3 days of train travel and 2 days of Avis or Hertz car rentals in or between bordering European countries.

www.railpass.com has some pretty handy tools for figuring out which rail pass is best for your particular trip – you can select destinations and durations and they will give you a recommendation right on the web! They also offer Eurail packages, like the European travel pack, which includes an international cell phone, a rail map, a 12-language phrase book, a Rail travel gift certificate (whatever that is), and $10 of iTunes downloads! Not a bad deal. Besides Eurail, they also sell BritRail and Rail Australia passes.

Eurail Destinations


Once you’ve decided on using Eurail as your prime mode of transportation, you’ll probably be wondering where exactly this pass will take you. The different Eurail passes available can get you to most European destinations. You’ll want to check what Eurail destinations are valid with your specific Eurail ticket.


The Eurail global pass is valid in the following Eurail destinations in Europe:

Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.


The Eurail Select Pass is a bit less flexible, but it can really help you to save money, depending on the destinations you intend to travel to with your Eurail pass. You can get a Eurail Select Pass for 3, 4 or 5 countries – you choose from a list of 22 European countries, including: Austria, Benelux (Belgium,the Netherlands, Luxemburg), Bulgaria/Serbia & Montenegro, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Slovenia/Croatia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

Eurail prices


So, you’re ready to hit the road and take that fist epic Eurotrip but, you’re too lazy to organize all your travel plans. Lucky for you, the folks over at Eurail have got you sorted out. They offer loads of options for travelers looking to buy a Eurail ticket to simplify their travel plans and get the most out of their trip to Europe.

The Eurail Global Pass allows you travel on any of the days that the pass is valid, this means you get the most travel days, and the most flexibility. This Eurail pass is available for 15 days, 21 days, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 10 days within 2 months or 15 days within 2 months. Travelers under 26 qualify for the youth pricing. The 15 day pass starts at $415, the 1 month pass is $669, and the 2 month pass is $945.

With the Eurail Select pass, you can basically make your own pass, choosing 3, 4, or 5 European countries and 5, 6, 8, or 10 travel days within a 2-month period. Youth prices for the Eurail select pass range from $265 to $579.
